Sasha Banks & Naomi Still Listed On WWE Internal Roster

Sasha Banks and Naomi have been the subject of much speculation recently. There have been reports ranging from the pair being released outright to their contracts being frozen by WWE. The former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions were suspended indefinitely after walking out on the company due to creative differences.

The latest report comes from Mike Johnson of PW Insider. He noted that Sasha Banks and Naomi are still listed on WWE’s internal rosters. Per the report, neither has received their release from WWE.

“For those who continue to ask, as of this morning, Sasha Banks and Naomi remain listed on the active WWE roster internally.  There has been no change in their status made internally since they walked out on that Raw taping several weeks ago.

Neither have been officially released.”

Ringside News exclusively reported that Sasha Banks and Naomi’s contract situation was being worked out by attorneys. A later statement from Andrew Zarian confirmed this. If the latest report of Banks and Naomi still being listed on the internal roster is true, those negotiations could still be ongoing.

Sasha and Naomi walked out before taping of Monday Night Raw in mid-May. Neither has appeared on WWE television since. Their WWE status seems to be up in the air right now. At the moment, they are still listed as roster members internally.
