CM Punk Was Asking Questions About Foot Surgery After Injury

CM Punk proved all doubters wrong as he won the AEW World Championship at AEW Double Or Nothing. The Summer Of Punk didn’t quite happen, which saddened fans. Punk was also asking questions about foot surgery after his injury.

As seen on last week’s episode of AEW Rampage, CM Punk revealed that he is injured and will undergo surgery. This shocked fans as they simply wanted to see Punk be an active champion.

Fans also wondered what kind of injury Punk suffered in the first place. While speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer revealed that CM Punk was asking him questions about foot surgery, which indicates that he suffered a foot injury.

“So Punk had his surgery today. I don’t know why they don’t say it was a broken foot, and he hasn’t actually said it was a broken foot, but he had foot surgery today, and I guess it went well.

“You know I broke my foot about 5/6 years ago right? So, Punk asked me all about when I broke my foot. So, it’s like, I guess he had a broken foot, right?

“He didn’t tell me had a broken foot, but he asked me, did I need surgery and questions about a broken foot, so I presume it’s a broken foot.”

CM Punk has already undergone successful surgery. CM Punk’s exact recovery time isn’t known but he is unlikely to be out of action for long time. We’ll have to see when the Second City Saint comes back.
