Call For Ric Flair’s Final Match To Take Place For The NWA

Two-time WWE Hall Of Famer Ric Flair has contributions to the world of pro wrestling cannot ever be understated. Regardless, Flair is still a controversial person and that’s why many people don’t like him. Matt Cardona also wants Flair’s final match to take place in the NWA.

Ric Flair will make his return to the squared circle on July 31st as part of the huge Starrcast wrestling convention. The Dirtiest Player In The Game will partner up with the FTR to take on the Rock n Roll Express and a mystery partner.

While speaking to Phil Strum on Under The Ring, NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion Matt Cardona stated that he wants Flair’s final match to be in the NWA, for the World Title. This is a sentiment that others have shared in the past

I’ve heard the rumors of what the match will be and I’m sure it’s going to be a great match and fun for everybody. Don’t you think his last match ever should be for the Ten Pounds of Gold? Flair also spoke to 40 doctors to get cleared for his in-ring return. He was also spotted shooting an upcoming documentary. We’ll have to see how his retirement match will turn out to be.
