Ryback Makes Comment About Cody Rhodes Injury While Dragging Kofi Kingston

Ryback usually isn’t very good at social media. The Big Guy does hit one out of the park from time to time. During last night’s WWE Hell in Cell main event, he cracked a joke about Cody Rhodes’ injury at the expense of another of his former coworkers.

Former WWE Champion Kofi Kingston is well-known for his sunken-in chest. The condition doesn’t come from any sort of serious disorder, and it is merely cosmetic. Kingston once explained that his pectoral muscles connect from closer to the sides of his sternum than the center, giving him the unique look.

Ryback thought of Kofi’s chest the minute he saw Cody Rhodes take off his jacket before his matchup with Seth Rollins. Fans were startled to see that Cody was covered in a massive, horrific-looking bruise after tearing a pectoral muscle. Ryback used Kofi Kingston as a reference point for why he thinks Rhodes will be just fine.

“@CodyRhodes will be fine tonight. I’ve watched @TrueKofi wrestle his whole career with no pecs and be successful.”

Ryback usually spends his time on social media complaining that nobody looks at his posts. He has also made several empty threats to WWE, who he believes is involved in a conspiracy to silence him. This time, Ryback used social media properly.

Cody Rhodes wound up winning his Hell in a Cell match with Rollins despite the pain. Even his wife, Brandi Rhodes, wasn’t sure he could finish. Ryback knew he would all along.
