According to a new tweet from Wrestle Votes, Cody Rhodes’ performance at Hell in a Cell was praised backstage. Those in the Gorilla Position loved the match and that likely includes Vince McMahon as he usually posts up in that famous go-to production spot.

I’ve had multiple sources reach out this morning w/ exemplary words for the performance Cody Rhodes put in last night. Credit to Seth Rollins as well. Those at Gorilla were said to have LOVED the match. A modern day, all time classic HIAC that WWE will treat as much going forward

We have not heard anything regarding how long Cody Rhodes will be out of action. It’s understandable if we don’t see him wrestle again for a while, but you know the American Nightmare is going to get back to action as soon as he possibly can. After all, he didn’t let that gnarly torn pectoral muscle stop him last night in Chicago.
