Natalya became the #1 contender for Ronda Rousey’s SmackDown Women’s Championship this week after defeating five other women in a six-pack challenge. The self-proclaimed BOAT took on Raquel Rodriguez, Aliyah, Xia Li, Shayna Baszler, and Shotzi to lock up a future shot at Ronda Rousey’s title. Now, Nattie has given herself another new nickname.

The newest challenger for Rousey earned her spot after pinning Shotzi in the chaotic matchup. Nattie is a former SmackDown Women’s Champion in her own right. Now, she will have to beat the Baddest Woman on the Planet to become a two-time champ.

Nattie was excited to earn the huge opportunity. She hyped up her eventual match with Ronda Rousey on social media. At one point, Natalya responded to a Twitter post by proclaiming herself “the Iron-Woman” of WWE.

“That’s because I’m the IRON-WOMAN of the @wwe.”

In the past, Natalya has been called the “gatekeeper” of WWE’s women’s division. As a long-tenured veteran, it’s hard to argue that fact. Now, Nattie will have a chance to make it official.

Natalya is next in line to challenge Ronda Rousey for the SmackDown women’s title. WWE has not yet announced a date for that match. For now, she is feeling herself as she hopes to once again become the face of the blue brand’s women’s division.
