Natalya has been with WWE for more than a decade and has seen performers come and go. The BOAT herself has won multiple titles in the promotion and spent the past few years putting over younger talent, which is one of the reasons she’s considered the “Gatekeeper of the Women’s Division.”

Natalya and Shayna Baszler took on WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Sasha Banks and Naomi for their tag titles last night on SmackDown. The duo lost the match after Naomi caught Natalya in a roll up. The Glow praised Natalya following the win.

“NXT might’ve blew her head a little too much. And I will say, Natalya, I do consider her like the gatekeeper of the Women’s Division: The BOAT. To be up here you gotta go through Natalya. Everybody knows that.”

Natalya had a brief program with NXT 2.0 star Cora Jade that ended this past Tuesday on the yellow brand, with the veteran beating the upstart. We’ll have to wait and see what’s next in store for Natalya.
