Mia Yim Rips WWE For Changing Gimmicks Just To Fire Talent

Mia Yim had a bright future ahead of her in WWE, as she had a solid run in NXT. She was always involved in top feuds and championship matches in NXT. However, all of that changed after she was called up to the main roster.

Her gimmick as Reckoning in the Retribution stable was truly the final nail in the coffin for her. It served no purpose and only devalued Mia Yim in the end. Mia Yim was released by WWE on November 4 of last year after being drafted to Monday Night RAW.

Mia Yim criticized WWE’s booking of Shotzi on her Twitch stream earlier this week. Yim mentioned how “Shotzi don’t even have her tank anymore, because, you know, they [WWE] like to fix s–t that isn’t broken.”

Due to this, a fan suggested that WWE released Mia Yim because she did not work hard enough. Yim fired back at the fan as she also ripped WWE for changing up a Superstar’s gimmick, just to fire them later on.

When you work hard for their ideas, do their ideas, and still get released. Your statement is inaccurate.

Mia Yim also felt like joke after WWE released her. Mia Yim is also happy working in Impact Wrestling, as she returned earlier this month. We’ll have to see how she will fare in Impact Wrestling in the coming months.
