Authors Of Pain Starting Their Own Pro Wrestling Promotion

The Authors of Pain had a memorable run in WWE. Akam and Rezar captured both the NXT and Raw Tag Team Championships during their time with the company. The team was released in 2020 after Rezar suffered an injury, but now the intimidating duo is making comeback.

Now going by their real names, Gzim Selmani and Sunny Dhinsa, the former WWE superstars are planning to launch a new wrestling promotion. The first for the Wrestling Entertainment Series will go down on June 4th from the Motorpoint Arena in Nottingham, England.

A press release announced the big news. The team promised some of the biggest names in professional wrestling. The former Rezar is excited to get started.

“This has been a long time coming. Over the past number of months, we have been working tirelessly to put together a top-class product that will excite fans new and old. I’m very excited to finally launch WES and to also reunite with my partner Sunny Dhinsa to unleash some pain again.

The promotion currently has a countdown set up to build anticipation for the launch of its new website. Fans can expect several talent announcements at that time. The Authors of Pain plan on touring Europe and the Middle East for several upcoming dates.

Fans in those regions will have to keep an eye on the WES website. More details should be coming shortly. After a long layoff, the AoP are finally making their return to the squared circle.
