NXT will be bringing back the In Your House event once again. This year’s show will look much different than the 2021 version, as there has been an enormous talent turnover in WWE’s developmental brand. On last night’s NXT 2.0, the first match was announced. We now know the date for the event, as well.

Mike Johnson of PW Insider has reported that NXT: In Your House will take place on Saturday, June 4th. There has not been a location announced for the show. Thus far, WWE has only held one NXT even outside of the Performance Center, that being Stand and Deliver during WrestleMania weekend in Dallas.

WWE revealed that Cameron Grimes will defend the NXT North American Championship against Carmelo Hayes at In Your House. Grimes also said that Solo Sikoa would be next in line if he can take care of Hayes. More exciting matches should be announced soon.

Last year’s event was headlined by Karrion Kross defending the NXT Championship against Pete Dunne, Adam Cole, Johnny Gargano, and Kyle O’Reilly. Every single one of those competitors has moved on from NXT. Only Dunne is still with WWE, currently performing as Butch.

Cameron Grimes also participated in the previous In Your House. He was defeated by LA Knight in a ladder match for the Million Dollar Championship. Grimes will look to turn things around and walk out of the event retaining the North American title.

WWE will have about a month to build up other matches for the big event. There are plenty of ongoing rivalries and storylines that could be settled at NXT: In Your House. Time will tell whether it goes down in Orlando or if WWE is ready to take the show back on the road.
