Veer Mahaan became the butt of lot of jokes after months of “Veer is coming” vignettes on WWE television. The jokes quickly came to an end as Veer has been dispatching everyone in his path and sending them to the hospital. Mahaan’s debut was a long time coming, and he made sure to make an impact.

In the lead-up to his debut, Veer worked on his character and in-ring skills at the WWE Performance Center. While there, he met with one of his favorite WWE superstars. As his debut drew closer, Veer said he had a run-in with the legendary Undertaker.

In an interview with Sony Sports Network, Mahaan didn’t share much about the chat he had with the Dead Man. Veer did note that it was his most memorable moment thus far in WWE. The Undertaker asking Veer if he was ready was enough to get the Indian superstar fired up.

“Before my debut, I ran into Undertaker. I had a few call sessions with Undertaker at Performance Center. And it was great to see Undertaker backstage when I was getting ready for my debut. He goes, ‘Man, are you ready for this?’ I said, ‘Yes, sir. Now, you are here and I am ready to go.’ That was one of the most memorable moments.”

Veer finally made that debut in April. He immediately went after the Mysterios. Since then, he has been ruthlessly decimating local talent. WWE is presenting him as an unstoppable force that is reminiscent of The Undertaker’s early days in the promotion.

We will have to keep watching to see how high the ceiling is for Veer Mahaan. As a former minor league baseball player, he is a natural athlete. At least part of his passion for wrestling is owed to one of his all-time favorites, The Undertaker.
