Vince McMahon Sees A Lot Of John Cena In Austin Theory

Theory has been Vince McMahon’s pet project on-screen for quite some time. The United States Champion has been getting more and more of a push since before WrestleMania. Theory even got a featured spot on the show of shows against the hugely popular Pat McAfee.

McMahon’s affinity for Theory isn’t just for television. The WWE boss thinks very highly of the young superstar. Vince McMahon sees a lot of one of his most successful talents of all time in Theory.

WrestleVotes recently tweeted that source told them that WWE has a huge push coming for Theory. That source said that Vince McMahon sees a lot of John Cena in him. Theory has even been taunting Cena at live events, hinting at a possible clash in the future. It looks like WWE is ready to do what it takes to make him a major star.

“Now that his push is in full effect, source states he anticipates bigger & bigger things for Theory. A person with direct knowledge states Vince “sees a young John Cena in Theory” and will “give the kid everything he needs to be successful””

Many have called for a huge main event push for Theory. WWE believes he could be a big-time player moving forward. Even a comparison to John Cena is the ultimate honor the company could pay.

Time will tell if the renewed push gets Theory even close to the heights reached by John Cena. It is an ambitious goal to build him into one of the faces of the company, but WWE has done it before. The WWE Universe will have to keep their eye on Theory because it sounds like he is about to be launched straight to the top.
