WWE is headed to the UK for a brief tour. That means they won’t be able to air a live SmackDown next week. Last night, after the show went off the air, the crowd in Albany got to see an additional taping for the April 29th episode.

  • Ricochet d. Shanky to retain the Intercontinental Championship – Jinder & Shanky teased a split after the match
  • Charlotte Flair vs Aliyah ended with Aliyah in the Figure 8 as time expired – I Quit Beat The Clock Challenge
  • Ronda Rousey d. Shotzi – I Quit Beat The Clock Challenge
  • Drew McIntyre d. Sami Zayn – Steel Cage Match

The taped SmackDown continues the build to WrestleMania Backlash. There are plenty of interesting segments from this taping that fans will want to check out. SmackDown will return to live shows after the UK tour.

WrestleMania Backlash is set for May 8 and will air live on Peacock in the US. Charlotte Flair and Ronda Rousey will square off in an I Quit Match for the SmackDown women’s title, the Usos will try to unify the Raw and SmackDown tag titles as they take on RK-Bro, and much more.
