Johnny Gargano was seen as the heart and soul of NXT and for good reason. He had countless solid feuds, with the likes of Tommaso Ciampa, Adam Cole and more. Gargano also feels unfulfilled with his WWE run.

Gargano parted ways with NXT earlier this year and since then, he has taken a break from pro wrestling in general. That does not mean he has no interest in going back to pro wrestling soon.

While speaking with WhatCulture, Johnny Gargano was asked about a potential return to WWE on the main roster. Gargano stated that he still feels unfulfilled with his WWE run.

“WWE, at the end of the day, was always the company I watched growing up. It was my dream to be there. It was my dream to wrestle for that company and I had a hell of a run there. There is a big part of me that still feels a little unfulfilled. I felt like, towards the end of my NXT run, I felt complete. I feel I did everything I possibly could in NXT, but for me, I’m always this underdog looking for different mountains to climb and hills to topple over. I just want a new mountain to climb.”

Johnny Gargano also does not think he will be wrestling after turning 40. We will have to wait and see whether Gargano will ever make his return to WWE or not.
