Johnny Gargano & Candice LeRae Livid Over Indi Hartwell & Dexter Lumis Engagement

Indi Hartwell and Dexter Lumis’ romance kicked itself into high gear this week on WWE NXT. After making a joke about Lumis having room for pie, Hartwell dropped to one knee for a post-match marriage proposal. Naturally, her on-screen “parents” are a bit concerned.

Johnny Gargano and Candice LeRae were watching this marriage proposal go down, and they are very upset. One thing they know for sure is that they are not paying for the wedding at all.

“I’m not paying for this thing! I’m paying for this wedding! Are you kidding me?!” Johnny Gargano belted out. He ranted on about how Lumis is a “cheapskate,” so he’s not paying for the wedding either. Also, Lumis never asked him permission to marry his “daughter.”

Johnny and Candice Wrestling were fuming, but they’ll still be at the wedding. This is frustrating for them, because they obviously wanted different things for Indi Hartwell.

Austin Theory took off and has been doing dark matches on the main roster. Now Indi Hartwell is flying out of their nest as well. Candice LeRae made it clear that she’s not leaving television until she has to due to her pregnancy, but this storyline will continue into next week. We can’t wait for the wedding.
