Johnny Gargano was considered the face of NXT by many fans due to his excellent feuds with the likes of Tommaso Ciampa, Adam Cole and many more. He has had various nicknames such as Johnny Wrestling, Johnny TakeOver and more and they are all for good reason. He also might not be wrestling for a very long time.

Gargano left NXT earlier this year and since then has been enjoying his time away from pro wrestling. He accomplished a lot in NXT and fans simply couldn’t get enough of him.

While speaking to Chris Van Vliet on Insight, Johnny Gargano talked about his future in the pro wrestling world. Gargano stated that he doubts he will be wrestling after turning 40.

Yes, I hope so. I assume. I have a great relationship with everyone there and I’m very lucky that I have that. That’s always in the back of my mind of what I’m going to do after wrestling. There is a big part of me that says I only want to wrestle until I’m 40 and that’s only six years away at this point. I feel I only have five years left to really maximize whatever I’m going to do in this.”

It remains to be seen when Johnny Wrestling will be making his return to the squared circle as fans would love to see him compete again.
