Cody Rhodes’ WWE Presentation Will Be Very Similar To AEW

Cody Rhodes’s influence in AEW was far-reaching and he helped the company in numerous ways, both as a wrestler and also in a backstage role. He put over several stars and fans appreciate that about him as well. However, he was also a polarizing figure towards the end of his AEW run.

Rhodes and his wife Brandi would leave AEW last month. Right after that, the two got busy with a variety of projects but the topic of their next pro wrestling venture was always going on.

As previously reported, Cody Rhodes has officially signed a contract with WWE. Ringside News exclusively reported that Cody Rhodes is slated for WrestleMania. According to WrestleVotes, two ‘very high profile people’ want Cody Rhodes’ presentation in WWE to be exactly how it was in AEW.

“Two very high profile people were adamant to the boss that if (when) Cody Rhodes arrives, he should be exactly what he was in AEW. Presentation, ring gear, theme music, pyro, etc. The visual impact of the “American Nightmare” crossing the line is significant here.”

Cody Rhodes also isn’t likely to appear on WWE television before WrestleMania 38, where he’ll square off against Seth Rollins. It remains to be seen whether Rhodes will find huge success in WWE or not.
