Ronda Rousey has become the subject of some major rumors. Rousey has been absent from WWE since WrestleMania 35. Rousey took break from WWE to start family. The Rowdy One may be making her return very soon.
Gossip has circulated all over the place that WWE will be bringing Ronda Rousey in for the upcoming women’s Royal Rumble match. The company has been scrambling to find bodies as they don’t have enough women on the main roster to fill all thirty spots. Several past stars have been booked for the match, including reigning Impact Knockouts champion Mickie James.
There are a lot of signs pointing to Ronda’s return at the Royal Rumble. PW Insider recently shared a list. Among the indicators is the fact that WWE flew an official to meet with the former UFC champion.
“*At least one WWE official flew after TV last week to California to meet with Rousey.
*We can also confirm that according to WWE sources, Rousey’s makeup artist and stylist when she last worked for WWE, Abraham Esparza, is slated to be at the PPV and Raw this coming week. We are told that that has been locked in for weeks and weeks.
*In speaking to a number of sources who are intricately aware of Rumble plans, we were told “it’s all on Rousey” and whether she wants to pull the trigger on the return, but the company is ready for it and wants it for Wrestlemania. Rousey vs. Becky Lynch or Charlotte Flair would obviously add some juice to Wrestlemania 38 if they go in that direction.”
Ronda Rousey would be a welcome addition to the women’s Royal Rumble. Ronda’s first run was well-received by fans and wrestlers alike. The WWE Universe might have to wait until Saturday to find out if she’s coming back for sure.
