CM Punk made his All Elite Wrestling debut a few months ago at AEW Rampage: The First Dance. It certainly changed the pro wrestling world as many people took notice of the company. Tony Schiavone considered it the greatest debut in pro wrestling history.

CM Punk has become one of the mainstays of AEW television and has feuded against the likes of Darby Allin, Eddie Kingston and others. Finally, CM Punk started a long-awaited feud with MJF.

WWE shocked a lot of fans when they announced that Mickie James would be competing in this year’s women’s Royal Rumble, especially with the fact that they acknowledged her reign as Knockouts Women’s Champion.

WWE is also said to be considering opening the Forbidden Door for the Men’s Royal Rumble match as well. Many fans started speculating that an AEW star could make an appearance during the Royal Rumble match as well.

However, that is unlikely to happen as Dave Meltzer made it very clear. Despite this, CM Punk took to Twitter and mocked the speculation of AEW stars competing in the Royal Rumble.

Working on my calendar, am I in the rumble?

We will have to wait and see whether WWE will end up bringing over talents from other promotions during the Men’s Royal Rumble match or not. It could certainly be the start of something huge.
