Nikki Bella Can Wrestle More Matches After WWE Royal Rumble

The Bella Twins were announced as two of the many surprises for this year’s WWE women’s Royal Rumble match. The Bellas haven’t wrestled in quite some time. Nikki was thought to be retired due to neck injury. We now know that she is medically cleared to compete. Later this month, they’ll both make their returns to a WWE ring.

The Bella Twins joined several other surprises for the women’s Rumble match. Mickie James will even be entering as the Impact Knockout’s champion. Several other names from the past have entered the Rumble as well.

Nikki and Brie recently discussed the big announcement on The Bellas Podcast. Nikki talked about how she thinks surprises are fun. Brie and Nikki Bella addressed whether this could be called a “comeback.”

“It’s always fun to have surprises. My guess is there’s still going to be surprises. I have no idea. People ask if it’s a comeback. The greatest thing about WWE and big PPVs like the Royal Rumble is you can come back for one great night and have fun.”

“In the world of any professional sport, people always make comebacks, but what’s beautiful about WWE is that we can make comebacks as many times as we want as long as our bodies let us and doctors (let us). I’ve officially got cleared.”

With Nikki Bella cleared, there is a path to future matches. The WWE Universe has always had mixed feelings about the Bella Twins. Nikki and Brie Bella are hoping to get a nice reaction when they return for the Royal Rumble.
