Zicky Dice recently signed a new deal with Impact Wrestling. The former NWA World Television Champion had previously tried to land deal with AEW. Dice had previously worked for the promotion on Dark. Ultimately, the deal never came together and Zicky is now with Impact.

Tony Khan recently pulled several AEW stars from the Zicky Dice’s Outlandish Paradise event taking place on January 15th. Those wrestlers will now be assigned to work the same day’s Dark tapings. Ricky Starks is among those wrestlers. Starks was scheduled to face Dice at the independent event.

Zicky didn’t get the job with AEW. Dice was able to land on his feet after leaving the NWA. A meeting with Scott D’Amore sparked the deal, according to Fightful Select. Zicky was booked for Dark by Captain Shawn Dean and had positive contacts with others in AEW. Dice was not offered a full-time deal and so the discussions began with D’Amore.

Zicky Dice also appeared backstage at a recent NWA event after leaving the company on bad terms. Dice and Nick Aldis squashed their ongoing dispute at the show. Billy Corgan was said to have no problem with Zicky being there.

AEW has been hiring a ton of talent as Tony Khan continues to try and grow the brand. Television time has become precious as the company continues to build on an already stacked roster. There may have been no room for Zicky Dice.

Zicky Dice’s Outlandish Paradise will be broadcast live on Twitch. The show will feature wrestlers from Impact, ROH, MLW, and AEW. Zicky fans can also catch their favorite wrestler on Impact.
