WWE released lot of people from NXT yesterday and they all seemed to have one connection between them all. They were all Triple H’s people. That was not lost on fans and it was soon reported that the company targeted those individuals.

Ringside News asked around about this situation and it was 100% confirmed to us that this is not only about removing Triple H’s people, but it was also personal. WWE was cleansing NXT of Triple H’s influence. We were told by a tenured member of the team that “it feels personal because it is.”

We were told, “you’re not a conspiracy theorist, it was Triple H’s people, specifically Triple H’s people and it was all intentional.” This personal shot at Triple H also included Bron Breakker smashing the old black and gold style NXT logo which was a bigger shot than Cody Rhodes destroying that throne with a sledgehammer at Double or Nothing.

The two biggest Triple H allies left in NXT are Shawn Michaels and Samoa Joe. Both of them were able to keep their positions through yesterday’s releases.

We will have to see how NXT evolves from here, but the company is certainly starting with a clean slate in a lot of ways. Keep checking back with Ringside News for more updates on this ongoing situation.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
