Jay Lethal is a true veteran in the world of professional wrestling after competing for over twenty years now. He established himself as one of the stars of the X-Division in TNA and then became one of the top talents in ROH as well. It seems Jay Lethal was worried about his AEW debut.

With Ring of Honor releasing all of their talents in order to undergo a complete overhaul, Jay Lethal became a free agent. Lethal then shocked the world as he made his debut at AEW Full Gear.

Jim Cornett even previously stated that Tony Khan finally did something right by signing Jay Lethal to AEW. He even blasted WWE for letting AEW sign Jay Lethal in the first place.

While speaking on the Keepin It 100 podcast, Disco Inferno talked about Jay Lethal’s booking in AEW. Lethal blasted AEW for losing Jay Lethal in the shuffle.

”I have no idea what AEW sees in people with the decisions that they make with characters and stuff. For example, the way they brought Miro in where he isa video gamer. Jay Lethal needs more time on the microphone and an actual angle, not just a bunch of random matches, he is going to be lost in the shuffle, everyone gets lost in the shuffle there except for Bryan Danielson.”

Ric Flair also previously said that Jay Lethal will never get his due in pro wrestling. It remains to be seen how Jay Lethal will be booked in AEW in the coming months.
