Jeff Hardy remains one of the most respected and beloved pro wrestlers in the history of WWE. Since his return in 2017, he was one of the mainstays of the company and competed in various feuds. It seems a former WWE writer had interning advice for him.

Unfortunately, he was recently released from WWE. To add to that, Jeff Hardy even turned down rehab prior to his firing. News of his release has truly shocked the pro wrestling world to its core and many people reacted to it.

As Ringside News exclusively reported, Hardy’s issues were not a problem backstage in WWE. Despite that, Jeff Hardy did refuse to get help for his addiction problems when WWE offered him help.

While speaking on Writing With Russo, former WWE Writer Vince Russo talked about Jeff Hardy’s recent release from WWE. Russo encouraged Hardy to take a break from pro wrestling.

“You will not be able to work on your issues staying in the business. It is just not possible. Being on the road, then you are in that hotel room alone and you are missing your loved ones and you are just missing your family. There is just no way anyone will get well while they are still in the business.”

Jeff Hardy’s issues are well known by now and it is simply callous to even claim that Hardy would fake them just to get fired by WWE. We will have to wait and see what is next in store for Hardy.
