Update: JD From NYC has cleared things up. He did not say what was alleged, and his comments were taken out of context.

Original: Jeff Hardy is a true veteran in the pro wrestling world, having worked in the business for well over two decades now. He was one of the mainstays of WWE television since returning to the company back in 2017. It seems Baron Corbin defended Jeff Hardy recently.

As Ringside News exclusively reported, Hardy’s issues were not a problem backstage in WWE. In fact, Roman Reigns was game to start a program with Jeff Hardy for the Royal Rumble or a Saudi Arabian show.

Jeff Hardy was replaced by Rey Mysterio in a match during a recent WWE live event in Corpus Christi. This is because he was sent back home. It even led to Jeff Hardy trending on social media. In the end, Jeff Hardy was fired by WWE recently as well.

Controversial wrestling podcaster JDfromNY reacted to Jeff Hardy’s release and claimed that Jeff Hardy intentionally faked his problems in order to get fired by WWE. Baron Corbin commented on the post and blasted the podcaster, stating that he is one of the dumbest people on the planet.

Jeff Hardy’s issues are well known by now and it is simply callous to even claim that Hardy would fake them just to get fired by WWE. We will have to wait and see what is next in store for Hardy.
