Lio Rush is paying homage to one of the wrestlers who inspired him the most. After hearing the news of Jeff Hardy’s recent WWE release, Lio took to Twitter to pay tribute. He said there would be no Lio Rush if it wasn’t for Jeff Hardy.

Rush offered prayers for Hardy and his family. He said that Jeff was a true inspiration to him. Lio thanked him for his dedication to professional wrestling.

“Thank you #JeffHardy for truly inspiring me. If it weren’t for you, there would be no me in this world of professional wrestling. Thank you for your hunger, your passion, your dedication and your loyalty to your family. Praying for you. Praying for them. #ForTheBest”

Big E and Matt Hardy also voiced support for the Charismatic Enigma on social media. Fans from around the world joined in doing the same. Jeff Hardy is one of the most influential wrestlers of his time.

Hardy was let go by WWE after behaving strangely at a recent house show in Texas. In a tag team match with Drew McIntyre and Xavier Woods against The Bloodline in Edinburg, Hardy dropped everything in the middle of the match and left. He then took pictures with the crowd as the confused wrestlers who remained scrambled to work out a finish.

Jeff Hardy was offered help by WWE, but reportedly rejected it. His wife says he is fine. Hopefully, that is the case. The entire staff here at Ringside News are pulling for Jeff Hardy and his family in this difficult time.
