Mickie James will defend the Impact Wrestling Knockouts Title against AEW star and former Impact wrestler Kiera Hogan at the upcoming NWA Hard Times 2 pay-per-view. The announcement was made by the NWA via Twitter. It will be a rare scenario where a major title is defended outside of its home promotion against a wrestler contracted to a third company.

The NWA has been loading the show with such matchups, though. The company says this is the eighth multi-promotion title match announced for the show. The Ring of Honor tag titles will be defended on the show by Mike Bennett and Matt Taven.

This makes EIGHT multi-company title matches in one night!”

In the main event, NWA champion Trevor Murdoch defends the gold against former WWE and TNA star Mike Knox. The NWA Women’s title is on the line as Kamille defends against former WWE superstar Melina. The show is littered with former WWE, ECW, ROH, Impact, and independent stars.

Hard Times 2 airs on Fite on December 4 at 8PM eastern time. The NWA has continually been trying to find its place in a crowded wrestling landscape. It appears, at least for now, the focus will be on pay-per-views that are stacked to the rafters with recognizable names.
