AEW Dynamite/Collision Results (9/23/2026): Live Match Updates and Highlights
The show opens up with commentary welcoming us. Commentary then hypes up what’s to come this weekend at All Out before we look at the matches for tonight’s 3-hour special.
We then find out tonight’s AEW World Trios Title Match is up next, but first we get some words from the challengers The Demand and the champions Swerve Strickland and The New Level.
Swerve Strickland and The New Level then make their way down to the ring for the first match of the night and The Demand follow.
AEW World Trios Championship Match: Swerve Strickland and The New Level (“Awesome” Austin Creed and Kofi) (c) vs. The Demand (Ricochet, Toa Liona and Bishop Kaun)
The match starts off with Ricochet and Swerve Strickland and both men trade offense early on. Ricochet then gets sent to the ropes, but Strickland fends him off before being dropped hard to the mat. Ricochet then gets to his feet as Strickland hits a chop, only to be cut off at the ropes by Bishop Kaun. Ricochet then sends Strickland to the corner for a tag to Kaun, but Strickland fights out long enough for a tag to Austin Creed. Creed then hits some hard strikes on Kaun, setting him up against the ropes for a dropkick to the back.
A tag is then made to Kofi and Creed places Kaun on the bottom rope for a senton by Kofi, who sends him back into the ring for a near fall. A tag is then made back to Creed now, followed by one to Strickland for a double team on Kaun. Kofi is back in and he gets the drop on Kaun and he and Creed continue to go to work on Kaun for a double dropkick. Creed is now in as Kofi hits the ropes for a double team, only to be cut off by Toa Liona who gets the tag. GOA then gets a double team on Creed for a double powerbomb and Liona attacks the throat of Creed.
Ricochet is now in control as he brings Creed to his feet, sending him to the corner. Creed then knocks GOA off from the apron before hitting Ricochet with a side leg sweep sending him to the canvas. He then heads to the corner but is caught Ricochet, who sends him to the outside where Creed hits a dive on Kaun. Ricochet then goes after him on the apron but gets caught on the top rope by Creed, who gets launched to the floor by Liona. He then charges after Kofi but gets hit with a House Call by Strickland, who in turn gets dropped with a dive over the top turnbuckle by Ricochet.
GOA then hoist Strickland up for a clothesline by Ricochet, who gets back in the ring as Liona brings Creed back into the ring as well. Ricochet then hits some shots on Creed, who fights back with a thrust kick. Creed then crawls over for a tag to Kofi, who dodges Liona to take out Kaun who tags in. He then fends off Liona some more but is intercepted by Kaun, who takes a guillotine leg drop of sorts by Kofi. Liona is back in the ring with a tag and GOA double team Kofi leading to a near fall. Creed then comes in and he sends Liona to the corner, but is shoved to the outside by Liona and he lands face first on the floor.
GOA then focuses on Kofi as Ricochet keeps Creed down on the outside, but they only get a two count as Kofi tries to fight back. Kofi is then sent to the corner as Ricochet gets a tag and a triple team leads to a 630 senton by Ricochet for the cover, only for Swerve to break up the pin at the last second. Ricochet is now angry as he turns his attention to Strickland and this opens him up for a back drop by Kofi. Kofi then gets the tag to Strickland as Kaun tags in as well and the two fight it out on the apron leading to a Swerve Stomp sending Kaun to the floor. Liona then comes in as Strickland returns to the ring, picking himself up after a rolling flatliner by both Strickland and Creed.
Hook kick by Kofi leads to a kick by Creed and a 450 splash by Strickland and the cover, but a 450 by Ricochet breaks that pin up. Chaos then ensues, leading to Creed dropping Liona to the mat only to be laid out by Kaun. Ricochet and Kofi then go at it with Kofi coming out on top, but in comes Liona once more before Strickland nails him with a House Call and the champs stack up on Liona for the win.
The winners and still the AEW World Trios Champions, Swerve Strickland and The New Level (“Awesome” Austin Creed and Kofi)!
After the match, the champs now turn their attention to All Out where they defend against Brodido and “Hangman” Adam Page and out come the next contenders with microphones. Page speaks first, congratulating the champs on retaining as he says the titles feel important in their hands as much as they did in Page’s and his pals’ hands. He then says he is glad Austin and Kofi are here, but he doesn’t think they know who they’ve gotten involved with. He then asks Swerve what he’s doing, wondering why he’s suddenly got trios partners when he wins the trios title. Creed then answers the question, saying Swerve is teaming with the best team in professional wrestling and making these titles the most prestigious.
Kofi then insists that Swerve is a changed man and he’s been nothing but cool since The New Level have been here. Brody King then points out it’s only been three weeks and Page says to give it time. Swerve then says they have some nerve talking like this, especially Page. He also asks if Page is going to abandon Brodido like he did his previous trios partners as we saw two years ago in Chicago that Hangman is no better or different than Strickland. Brody then interrupts to say that they are six of the best AEW has to offer and they will face off for the trios titles and Bandido ends things by saying they will regain the titles this Saturday.
We then head to the back, where we hear from “Speedball” Mike Bailey, Will Ospreay, and Francesco Akira. Ospreay welcomes Speedball into The United Empire ahead of their tag match later tonight and Akira speaks some Italian before Ospreay stops him from swearing for the second week in a row. He then asks Bailey if he has anything in green.
Thekla then cuts a promo on Willow Nightingale. Thekla talks about two different kinds of b***hes, the dumb one and the real one. Thekla then asks Willow if she knows which one she is before turning her attention to how she’s going to be all nice tonight, but on Saturday it’s going to get all toxic.
Jon Moxley then makes his way down to the ring for the next match of the night and Dezmond Xavier follows.
AEW Continental Championship Eliminator Match: The Death Riders’ AEW Continental Champion Jon Moxley vs. The Rascalz’s Dezmond Xavier
The match starts off with Jon Moxley and Dezmond Xavier locking up and Xavier is taken to the mat by Moxley. Xavier then gets back to his feet quick and catches Moxley in a side headlock. Moxley then brings him to the mat for a near fall, but Xavier still has the hold in place until Moxley shoves him down hard. He then hits the ropes but gets caught in a headscissors by Xavier, sending him to the corner. Xavier then hits some shots, but Moxley turns it around for a chop. Xavier then walks away but is intercepted by Moxley, who sends Xavier into the corner again for some more damage.
Xavier then fights his way out of the corner, forcing Moxley to take a breather on the outside before he goes for a dive. Moxley is now back in the ring as Xavier gets back in, hitting the ropes and walking into a big boot by Moxley. Moxley then has Xavier in the corner for some punches before looking for a Gotch style piledriver. Xavier then fights back, sending Moxley to the outside for a dive to send Moxley to the floor. He then brings Moxley back into the ring. Moxley then heads to the corner as Xavier charges at him, but he switches to a thrust kick followed by some chops sending Moxley to the corner. He then hits a standing star press, but only gets a near fall for his effort.
Moxley then cuts off a kick by Xavier for a suplex, sending Xavier to the corner. He then hits a kick before hoisting Xavier up, but Xavier fights out and takes Moxley down for a cover and a two count. He then hits the ropes but gets caught by Moxley, only to fight back out and hit a kick before Moxley fires back with a lariat that levels Xavier. Both men are then back to their feet as Xavier dodges Moxley in the corner, only for Moxley to dodge a moonsault. Moxley then hits a dropkick sending Xavier to the corner, but he takes a kick by Xavier who goes for the cover and gets trapped in a bulldog choke instead. Xavier then fights his way toward the ropes, but is brought back to the center by Moxley and Xavier is out cold as the ref calls for the bell.
The winner of the AEW Continental Championship Eliminator Match, The Death Riders’ AEW Continental Champion Jon Moxley!
After the match, Moxley celebrates his victory.
We then head to the back, where Darby Allin and Steven Borden are approached by Adam Copeland. Copeland says he asked Christian Cage to sit this one out so it doesn’t get hostile. He then gives Borden some props for doing as well as he has so early on in his career. He then says he is aware that Borden and Darby are looking to get a future title shot at the tag titles, but as one half of the champs he tells Borden that he is reaching for not only stars but legends and to ask his dad what that looks like. Copeland then says as for Darby facing the champs is like climbing two Mount Everests. Darby then interrupts and says with all due respect challenge accepted.
We head back to ringside and The Young Bucks make their way down to the ring to a nice pop from the crowd. FTR and Stokely then make their way out. Stokely then has a mic in hand as the three make their way toward the ring. Adam Copeland and Christian Cage then make their way down the ramp. Stoke starts off by saying FTR has nothing left to say and the only reason they’re here is so they’re not fined by the greatest boss in the world Tony Khan. Matt Jackson then says when it comes to the 3-Way TLC Match for the AEW World Tag Team Championship at All Out, FTR are The Dudley Boys. Nick Jackson then says he and Matt have failed to win back the AEW World Tag Team Championship multiple times and it might be their last opportunity to win back the AEW World Tag Team Championship. Cage then says he and Copeland are one time AEW World Tag Team Champions and that’s the way it’s going to stay because he and Copeland are generational.
Cage then says he has a ritual before big matches and he’s looking forward to meeting Matt and Nick’s mother, but Copeland cuts off Cage and says he’s sick of hearing FTR and The Young Bucks talking about becoming four-time AEW World Tag Team Champions. Matt then says Copeland crippled himself last jumping off something high a year ago, prompting Copeland, Cage and The Young Bucks to beat down FTR and send them crashing out of the ring. Copeland and Cage and The Young Bucks then begin brawling with one another, but Nick climbs up a ladder as Matt gets Copeland up on one shoulder. Security then intervenes, but Matt nails one of the guards and Nick flies off a ladder to level the rest. Cash Wheeler then sends another security guard crashing through the table and all three teams stare down one another.
The Young Bucks and FTR then fight to the outside as security tries to intervene and an enraged Copeland and Cage turn their attention to one of the guards for a one-man Conchairto. This then ends with Copeland’s music playing.
We then head to the back, where Willow Nightingale addresses what Thekla had to say. She points out that the last time they faced off she beat Thekla for the title. She then says she has now had a taste of that glory and that could be dangerous for Thekla this Saturday at All Out.
Tommaso Ciampa then makes his way down to the ring for the next match of the night and Jake Doyle and Don Callis follow.
Singles Match: “The Psycho Killer” Tommaso Ciampa vs. Don Callis Family’s Jake Doyle
The match starts off with Jake Doyle going after Tommaso Ciampa early on, but is quickly sent to the outside by Ciampa. Ciampa then brings Doyle back into the ring for a running knee, but gets caught with a body splash by Doyle instead. Doyle then continues to go to work on Ciampa, sending him to the mat with a lariat. Doyle then sends Ciampa to the outside, looking for a powerbomb before Ciampa fights out of it. Ciampa then gets back into the ring, hitting Doyle with a DDT on the apron before fighting him to the barricade. Ciampa then charges at Doyle for a knee strike that drives Doyle into the barricade before sliding into the ring long enough to break the count.
Ciampa then charges at Doyle again, but Doyle hits him with a chokeslam of sorts slamming Ciampa onto the barricade. Ciampa and Doyle are now up top until Doyle gets dropped to the mat with a Psycho Driller, but Ciampa only gets a two count. Doyle is still down as Ciampa mocks Okada’s pose and this allows Doyle a chance to get back to his feet. Ciampa then nails him with some shots sending him back down, but Doyle steps on his foot to stop his momentum. Doyle then hoists up Ciampa, who fights out. Doyle then hits the ropes, but walks into a dropkick by Ciampa.
Doyle then hoists him up for a powerbomb, but it’s only good for two. Ciampa then escapes the ring as Doyle follows him, sending him into the barricade before slamming his head against the LED board. Doyle then goes for a powerbomb again, but has to accept just slamming Ciampa’s face against the floor. He then brings Ciampa back into the ring, but gets caught with a knee by Ciampa, who heads to the corner for another one for the win.
The winner of the Singles Match, “The Psycho Killer” Tommaso Ciampa!
After the match, Ciampa says what he has to say is for both Don Callis and Kazuchika Okada. Ciampa then says in 2018 he and Okada lived on different islands. Ciampa then says it’s 2026 now and they no longer have to ask what if because they live on the same island now. Okada’s music then hits and he makes his way out, telling Ciampa he asked for The Rainmaker but he won’t be getting that tonight. Okada then says Ciampa will get what he wants at All Out and he will when he beats Ciampa. Ciampa then says he must be losing his hearing because Okada has another thing coming to him if Okada thinks he’s scared of him. He then says everyone will see the real Psycho Killer.
Persephone then makes her way down to the ring for the next match of the night with Britt Baker and Hyan follows.
AEW TBS Championship Match: CMLL World Women’s Champion Persephone (c) vs. Hyan

Persephone is still in control with some strikes, keeping Hyan down despite some fighting back. Persephone then gets a two count before sending Hyan to the corner, but Hyan fights back with a boot before taking Persephone to the mat.
Fall away slam then gets a cover for Hyan, but only a two count. Persephone then nails Hyan and gets a near fall, which is countered into one by Hyan. Persephone then gets some shots in on Hyan, who turns things around to nearly pick up the win on Persephone. Persephone then ends up cradling Hyan, grabbing the bottom rope for leverage for the win.
The winner and still the AEW TBS Champion, CMLL World Women’s Champion Persephone!
After the match, Persephone celebrates her win with Baker.
Will Ospreay and Mike Bailey then make their way down to the ring for the next match of the night and The Death Riders follow.

The match starts off with Mike Bailey and Gabe Kidd and Bailey is brought to the mat by Kidd. Bailey is back up and both men trade shots until Bailey is sent to the mat, but he dodges a senton by Kidd. Kidd then sends Bailey out of the ring as Will Ospreay tries to intervene and this ends with the Death Riders going to work on Ospreay and Bailey. Ospreay then fights back with a forearm off the barricade on Claudio Castagnoli enters the ring. Bailey then hits Kidd with a missile dropkick. Double team off an Ospreay tag then leads to a sky twister press for two. Ospreay then gets Kidd to the corner, but Kidd bites his hand to get out of it and Castagnoli gets a tag as the Death Riders double team Ospreay.
Bailey then comes in and the Death Riders get sent to the outside for a dive by Ospreay and Bailey. Ospreay then brings Castagnoli back in before tagging in Bailey and they go for a tandem suplex, only for both to be dropped to the mat by Castagnoli. A tag is then made to Kidd. Castagnoli then stays in control as he takes Bailey down for a two count. Kidd then gets a tag now, going to work on Bailey until he takes an enziguiri. Ospreay then reaches for a tag but is pulled off the apron by Castagnoli, only for Bailey to drop him to the floor with an Pele kick to the outside but when Bailey comes back into the ring he is cut off by Kidd, who takes a bite out of Bailey’s foot. Bailey then manages to fight back, sending Kidd to the canvas before tagging in Ospreay.
Castagnoli then gets a tag as well as he gets sent to the ropes by Ospreay. Castagnoli then blocks a suplex and this allows Kidd to intercept off a tag, only to take a suplex by Ospreay himself. This then allows Castagnoli to get involved until he gets dropped with a suplex by Ospreay. Twisting kick by Ospreay then gets a two and a Hidden Blade is dodged by Kidd. Ospreay then says he has one thing to say to Jon Moxley and that is thank you. Ospreay then says thank you for the guidance, thank you for being the ace and thank you for breaking me. Ospreay then says because of that he is the man he is today. Ospreay then says Moxley’s history has been well documented and the one thing he’s learned from Moxley that will stick with him is the World Title is what it’s all about.
Ospreay then says he’s risked his life for leather and gold, but more so for what it represents. Ospreay then says he’s here to attack for the next generation and Moxley has just been dumped into an ocean with a great white shark because this time Moxley is the challenger and he is the World Champion. Moxley then has a mic of his own as he enters the ring. Moxley asks Ospreay if, standing in this ring across from him, does he feel like the champion. Ospreay doesn’t get to answer before Gabe Kidd slides into the ring looking for a sneak attack, only to be leveled by Ospreay who tells Moxley you’re f***ing right I feel like the champion. Moxley then takes his leave from the ring, leaving Ospreay to stare down at Kidd. Ospreay then leaves the ring to high-five Bailey up on the stage, celebrating their win.
We then head to the back, where we hear from Jack Perry as he addresses HOOK telling him he needed to face Katsuyori Shibata before he can face Samoa Joe. Perry and Shibata will face off at the All Out Tailgate Brawl this Saturday and Perry smiles at the thought of having to survive Shibata.
We then head back to ringside for the face-to-face interview as we see the champions and the challengers out on the stage, which has a tea set and crumpets out on a table. This is a gift from Divine Dominion to the Brawling Birds, something to help the champions feel special before they take back their titles. The Brawling Birds then accept the gift, saying may the best team win at All Out before things quickly take a turn. Divine Dominion then end up on top as they drop the champs to the stage and they stand tall.
We then get a video from after Dynamite last week, where Roderick Strong says he has a lot on his mind after The Conglomeration failed to take the Trios Titles. He then says he can’t take this anymore before walking off.

The match starts off with Turbo Floyd and Kyle Fletcher and Floyd gets one over on Fletcher, but that doesn’t last long as Fletcher sends Floyd to the ropes for a running boot. Fletcher then follows it up with a forearm and a tag to Kevin Knight, leading to a double team as Knight gets a two count. Knight then stays on top of Floyd with a side headlock, but Floyd fights to his feet for a tag to Truth Magnum. Double team then sends Knight to the mat. The Outrunners then pose but are interrupted by Fletcher, allowing Knight to get some shots in on Magnum before making the tag to Fletcher. They then send him to the ropes for a double team, but Knight is sent out followed by Magnum.

Floyd then goes after Knight and finally gets the tag, allowing the Outrunners to run wild with body slams on both opponents before sending Knight and Fletcher into each other before hitting the double elbow drop for a near fall. Knight then breaks it up, allowing Fletcher to fire back with a half and half suplex on Floyd. A tag is then made to Knight before Fletcher drops Floyd down hard with a sheer drop brainbuster and Knight follows that up with a UFO Splash for the win.
The winners of the Tag Team Match, Don Callis Family (“The Jet” Kevin Knight and “The Protostar” Kyle Fletcher)!
After the match, Renee Paquette gets into the ring to ask if they believe the momentum will carry them to a win at All Out. Fletcher tells her they’ve got it from here before telling the crowd to say his full name. He then addresses the comments made by Borden and Darby, saying they’ll get burned when they face the Family at All Out this Saturday. He then admits to Callis that he didn’t like Kevin at first but they’re working together like a well-oiled machine or like a family. He then states that this will be a cake walk for them and they will become the new #1 contenders for the AEW World Tag Team Championship.
Darby’s music then hits as we see RPG Vice waiting for Allin and Borden on the stage, but it turns out they’re up in the rafters as Darby says they’re not coming down there to get jumped by all fifty members of the Don Callis Family. Darby then reminds Knight what happened when they faced off, but Knight says they’re playing by his rules at All Out. He then calls Borden a little rookie, but Darby makes fun of this by asking how it’s going to feel to lose to a man in his third match. He then says just don’t call this an upset. Darby’s music then hits as commentary hypes up All Out, including the matches set for the Tailgate Brawl and the lineup for the PPV event itself.
Jericho then makes his way out. We then take a look back at Jericho beating Nick Wayne last week on Dynamite and the revenge Wayne got after the match as Jericho enters the ring. Crowd then chants for Jericho as he gets a microphone, thanking “Indianapolis” for their love. He then talks about beating Nick Wayne last week only to get kicked “right in the plums” after. Jericho then says he didn’t like that, but did like that Nick took advantage of an opening and made it work. He then offers Wayne another chance to stand toe to toe with Jericho here tonight, telling him to get down here. Nick’s music then hits as he makes his way out, stopping at the apron with a mic of his own. Jericho asks if he’s scared to get into the ring, but Wayne just says he’s smart. He then finally steps into the ring, talking about how much the ladies in this crowd love his face before addressing his issues with Jericho.
Jericho then feigns kicking Wayne before addressing the similarities the two have. Jericho says they both started as teenagers, had some impressive runs in Japan and he used to be an egotistical asshole like Nick currently is. He then asks Wayne if he knows who Nick Bockwinkel is, leading to an exchange of insults before he talks about what Bockwinkel had to say when they faced off early in Jericho’s career. He then talks about Bockwinkel’s evaluation of working too fast and needing to calm down and how Jericho had to eventually accept what the legend had to say despite Jericho being an arrogant prick. Nick then asks if that’s what Jericho is calling him before addressing how much he’s grown as a wrestler. Things then come to an end as Jericho interrupts him to accept the challenge for Grand Slam: Paris. Jericho’s music then hits.
We then head to the back, where Hyan addresses the loss earlier tonight before introducing us to her new tag team partner Thunder Rosa. Rosa says hello before talking about heading to Pittsburgh, where Rosa and Hyan will face Britt Baker and Persephone in Baker’s hometown.
Mercedes Moné then joins the commentary desk for the next match of the night. With her nose still busted, Moné is not cleared for action so Willow Nightingale and Thekla face off this Saturday for a shot at the Women’s World Championship at WrestleDream. Blue is then back to her feet before both women trade strikes. Aminata then hits the rope but is cut off by Blue, only to send her down to the mat with a crossbody and sets Blue up for Chocolate Kisses. Blue then gets pulled out of harm’s way by Julia Hart, leading to a confrontation with Mina Shirakawa before Blue grabs Aminata on the outside to send her into the ring step.
Aminata then starts to fight back, but gets caught with a suplex to the floor off the steps. Blue is in control with a choke, but Aminata fights out of it before sending her to the corner for a double stomp and a near fall. Blue is then brought to her feet by Aminata, who gets cradled for two by Blue. Kick by Blue, but Aminata counters a DDT into a neckbreaker for another near fall. Both women then go at it before exchanging pin attempts. Big kick by Blue as she goes for the cover, but Aminata manages to kick out at two. Both women then back up as Blue slaps Aminata’s face, which leads to Off With Her Head by Aminata for the win.
The winner of the Singles Match, Queen Aminata!
After the match, no time for celebration as Julia Hart goes after Aminata, leading to Mina Shirakawa getting involved as well. Mina and Aminata then take out the Sisters of Sin as Thekla comes out for some revenge, only for Willow Nightingale to come out and interrupt. She then runs the Triangle of Madness out of the ring as Mercedes Moné stands on the announce desk and she holds her title up in the air, reminding both potential challengers who the champion as commentary hypes up the main event between PAC and Ace Austin.
We then head to the back for a response from Dr. Britt Baker and Persephone ahead of their match in Pittsburgh next week. They accept the challenge for next week so Britt can hopefully wrap things up with Thunder Rosa. Persephone then issues an open challenge to anyone other than Hyan, Thunder or Maya World at All Out for her TBS Title.
Ace Austin then makes his way down to the ring for the main event of the night with Bang Bang Gang and PAC follows as we get confirmation of his National Championship Match against Andrade El Idolo. PAC then heads to the ringside area and enters the ring to get this match underway.
Singles Match: The Death Riders’ “The Bastard” PAC vs. Bang Bang Gang’s Ace Austin
The match starts off with Ace Austin getting PAC to the ropes, with the referee calling for a break. They then exchange holds until PAC takes Austin down with a hip toss into an abdominal stretch. Austin then breaks free, but PAC hits the ropes for speed to dodge a kick only for Austin to take him to the mat with a drop toe hold. Austin then takes control as he goes to work on PAC before Austin rolls out of the ring for a breather. Austin then hits PAC with a kick before taking him to the floor hard. He then brings PAC back into the ring, hoisting him up onto his shoulders for some more squats before dropping PAC with a Death Valley Driver.
PAC then rolls out of harm’s way. PAC is now back in control, keeping Austin grounded with a cravat before sending him to the corner. Austin then fights back with a boot and a round kick before dropping PAC to the mat. PAC is now back on his feet, but Austin hits some hard kicks to keep him down for a leg drop. Austin then heads to the corner when he sees PAC on the other side, hitting a running lariat to the corner and some extra shots. PAC then catches him on the rebound and sends him into the opposite corner, but Austin fires back with a guillotine leg drop to the back. He then turns PAC over, but only gets a two count. PAC then hits Austin with a release German suplex, but Austin lands on his feet before going after PAC who sends him into the corner with a belly to bell suplex. PAC then goes up top and hits a Black Arrow for the win.
The winner of the Singles Match, The Death Riders’ “The Bastard” PAC!
After the match, PAC locks Austin in a Brutalizer until Jay White comes out for the save. The Dogs and The Death Riders then come in and this leads to an all out brawl ahead of the Tailgate Brawl at All Out. This then seems to come to a head with Andrade El Idolo’s music playing, scaring PAC out of the ring where Andrade hits him with a clothesline. El Idolo and PAC then take their fight into the crowd as the fight at ringside continues and the show comes to a close.
