Dax Harwood was banged up during FTR’s match against the Lucha Bros. on Saturday’s AEW Full Gear PPV. The tag team specialist was shaken up during the bout after he was hit by Rey Fenix. Tony Khan acknowledged the injury after the show.

Now, we know that Dax was injured going into the match, as well. He entered the match with a severely bruised tailbone. The injury was suffered in a recent match against Pac. The Wrestling Observer went into more detail.

“Dax Harwood came into his match with a bruised tailbone and said he had a rainbowed colored ass. He apparently got it from taking a backdrop on the floor in the singles match with Pac, who flipped him out of a piledriver. He was also rocked by Rey Fenix about ten minutes into his tag match.”

It is unknown if Harwood will miss any time with the injuries. FTR still currently hold the AAA Tag Team titles. If he’s out with an injury, he may miss some obligations in Mexico, as the team are scheduled to defend the titles there.

Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler have been feuding with the Lucha Bros over both the AEW and AAA titles recently. Any kind of injury could derail that storyline and force AEW to call an audible on whatever their plans for the team are. They’ve been unlucky with injuries ever since joining the company.

FTR are among the most decorated tag teams currently active in wrestling. They’ve held the NXT titles twice, the Raw titles twice, the SmackDown titles once, and the AEW titles once. They were the first triple crown tag team champions in WWE.

What do you think will happen to the AEW tag division if FTR has to take time off? Let us know in the comments!
