AEW Full Gear was stacked pay-per-view from top to bottom. There were reports of several injuries at the show, most notably to Eddie Kingston. Kingston says his shoulder is fine, but another AEW wrestler who was injured during his match caused the company to call an audible on the finish.

According to Fightful Select, Tony Khan mentioned that Dax Harwood was shaken up during FTR‘s title matchup with the Lucha Bros. Beyond the storyline part where Cash Wheeler finished the match, there may be some truth. Dax may even have been knocked out.

Harwood was knocked out or potentially severely dazed roughly ten minutes into the match. He was forced to sit out most of what was left of the bout. A move by Rey Fenix was said to have caused the injury.

Dax was originally supposed to play a role in the finish to the match to play up the idea that the legal man was never pinned. Instead, the plan was changed on the fly. There’s no update available on Harwood’s condition.

Despite the injuries, Full Gear was considered a successful show. Backstage morale is running high. This, despite reports that the show may not have been as successful as All Out.

The Lucha Bros. defended the AEW Tag Team titles after FTR exited the ring and put on luchador masks. Then, the illegal man was pinned for the three count. Apparently, there was supposed to be an angle where FTR argued that the legal wrestler wasn’t pinned, but it was scrapped due to the injury.
