Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler have worked hard to establish themselves as one of the top tag teams in pro wrestling. They already proved their worth in AEW by winning the AEW Tag Team Titles once. The two also don’t care what their critics have to say about their matches.

FTR are true fans of the old school way of professional wrestling and was inspired by various legends, with Bret Hart being their greatest inspiration. CM Punk would certainly approve of this.

FTR used to work in WWE for a few years before they made their way to AEW. Due to this they are more than aware of how it is like to work with Vince McMahon.

While speaking with DAZN, Dax and Wheeler talked about their time in AEW so far. Harwood then compared Vince McMahon and Tony Khan. Harwood stated that Vince McMahon is a money mark and not Tony Khan.

“Right now, he’s (Tony Khan) a man worth eight or $9 billion, and the people are just regurgitating what they hear online from some of their favourite podcasters that he’s a quote-unquote money mark. Furthest from the truth. But he’s got to have money. Vince was a money mark if you think about it. He had to buy a company from his dad, and he had the money. It’s asinine even to think that. He’s a huge wrestling fan who was blessed to have the money that he has, and he’s trying to put on the best wrestling product in the world, I think. Obviously, I’m biased that he is putting on the best wrestling product we’ve had in a long time.

For many fans, WWE is ultimately the company that cares more about earning money than putting on great pro wrestling shows. For them, Tony Khan is a breath of fresh air. It is unlikely WWE will change how they go about their business anytime soon.
