Impact Wrestling’s Bound For Glory event included a few title changes. The IInspiration started out the night by winning the Knockouts Tag Team Titles and then Trey Miguel picked up the vacant X Division Title. The co-main event saw Deonna Purrazzo lose the Knockouts Title to Mickie James, but the main event was for the company’s biggest prize.

Christian Cage and Josh Alexander went to war in the main event of Bound For Glory. After a hard-fought contest, Josh Alexander finally made Cage tap out to become Impact Wrestling Champion.

Ringside News exclusively reported that AEW and Impact Wrestling’s partnership is over after Bound For Glory. We will have to see if a new deal can be arranged, but it appears that Christian Cage dropped that title for a reason.

This was a huge moment for Josh Alexander as he celebrated a massive win for his career. After the match was over, Alexander’s wife and son joined him in the ring for a victory celebration. “You deserve it” chants echoed from the Sam’s Town Live crowd.

Then Moose jumped in the ring during the closing moments of the night and he cashed in his Call Your Shot trophy which he won previously in the night. With Josh Alexander’s family still in the ring, Moose nailed a spear and won the Impact World Title from Josh Alexander.

Obviously, the story is far from over for Josh Alexander in Impact Wrestling, but tonight was Moose’s chance to shine.
