AEW opened up the Forbidden Door as wrestlers from other companies were able to perform under Tony Khan’s roof. He also sent several of his own stars to other promotions, but doors can also close just as fast as they open. It appears that Bound For Glory will be a significant time for that story.

Christian Cage, an AEW contracted talent, is currently Impact Wrestling World Champion. He will do battle against Josh Alexander at Bound For Glory tonight. We will have complete coverage right here at Ringside News, and it could be a historic show for a few reasons.

Ringside News has been told that AEW and Impact Wrestling’s deal is “ending” after Bound For Glory. We were not given any specifics about what that means for the future, especially for people like Christian Cage and the Good Brothers who have been appearing for both Impact Wrestling and AEW.

A trusted source close to the situation informed us that “the partnership is ending after BFG.” Unless something changes it appears that the companies will stop sharing talent after Bound For Glory on October 23rd.

Wrestling fans will have to choose between Saturday Night Dynamite and Bound For Glory tonight, because both shows will overlap a bit. The Bound For Glory kickoff show will air during Dynamite. Bound For Glory will have a later start time in Las Vegas. We were not able to confirm that this has anything to do with their impending split.

Unless AEW and Impact Wrestling can work something out, Britt Baker and Deonna Purrazzo’s efforts to have cross-promotional match will not be successful.

There is obviously a lot more to this situation and we will update you as soon as more information is known. We will continue monitoring this ongoing story here at Ringside News.
