Lance Archer is certainly one of the mainstays of AEW television and a true veteran in the pro wrestling world. His imposing figure and intensity have made him top star in the company. It seems he gave fans an update after what happened during this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite.

Prior to signing with AEW, Lance Archer largely worked in NJPW and competed in some memorable matches. He would sign with AEW back in February of last year and since then became one of the mainstays of the company.

During this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, Eddie Kingston and Lance Archer squared off against each other in an AEW Eliminator tournament match. During the match, Lance Archer suffered scary botch after landing on his head when performing a moonsault.

The match had to be called off early as a result of the scary botch. Many fans were worried about Lance Archer’s condition. Archer took to Twitter and provided an update on his condition, as he simply stated that he will live.

“I’ll live! Thank ya Lord!

Listen. We choose to do this and take our health n lives in our hands every night. I’ve done that move hundreds of times over my career. Just under rotated. Coulda been MUCH worse. Thank you to ALL at @AEW for taking AMAZING care of me and protecting me. I’ll BE BACK!

From the looks of it, Lance Archer didn’t suffer any serious injury as he was able to walk backstage after his match. We will have to wait and see if Archer will need to take some time off in order to heal up or not.
