Nia Jax Taking ‘Extended Period Of Time Off’ From WWE

Nia Jax was involved in an injury angle on RAW a couple of weeks ago. Her former tag team partner Shayna Baszler took her out as she stomped on her elbow, causing the Irresistible Force to scream in pain. Jax is out of action and was not around for the 2021 WWE Draft. Now we will have to wait for her return.

We previously reported that Eva Marie, Baszler’s latest victim was backstage at SmackDown with her arm in sling. Nia Jax was not there at all.

According to a report from PW Insider, Nia Jax is taking a longer break from WWE and there is no word of when she will be back.

Nia Jax was not backstage at Smackdown and the word making the rounds is she may be taking an extended period of time off, so her attack by Baszler was to write her off TV for the time being.

Nia Jax will return, but she might take a bit of time away from the ring. This isn’t the first time she needed to leave WWE for a spell only to come back focused and ready for action. She is still under WWE contract, but it seems that Nia Jax is going to take some time away from Vince McMahon’s company for now.
