WWE is about to introduce fans to NXT 2.0. A lot of people have questions and that extends to the roster as well. Many feel as though they are “on thin ice,” because they don’t know what to expect. Triple H’s absence also leaves many to wonder who will steer the ship. We might have our answer in that regard.

According to PW Insider, Kevin Dunn is backstage for NXT this week. He will “personally oversee” the production. Dunn works alongside Vince McMahon and has produced WWE television for years. He is the company’s Executive Producer & Chief, Global Television Distribution.

Kevin Dunn is at tonight’s WWE NXT TV taping to personally oversee tonight’s USA Network broadcast.

It was also confirmed that Triple H is not at NXT today. He suffered cardiac event recently and needed a procedure. The Game is currently at home resting up. It appears that Kevin Dunn will run things in Paul Levesque’s absence.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
