Damian Priest Wins WWE United States Title At SummerSlam

SummerSlam packed masked fans inside Allegiant Stadium, and fans saw title switch during the very first match on the show as RKBro defeated AJ Styles and Omos for the Raw Tag Team Titles. WWE wasn’t finished providing big moments during the biggest party of the summer.

Sheamus wore a mask over his face to protect a broken nose for weeks. He even used that mask a weapon against his opponents. Damian Priest was well aware of Sheamus’ new heel tactic, and he used it against Sheamus in the end to gain an advantage.

Priest took off Sheamus’ mask and clocked him. Then he hit a Reckoning and won the WWE United States Title. This marks Damian Priest’s first singles title on the WWE main roster. He was previously an NXT North American Champion during his days on the black and gold brand.
