The pro wrestling world certainly underwent a change as CM Punk debuted on this week’s AEW Rampage: The First Dance. CM Punk is expected to do lot more than simply competing inside the squared circle.
CM Punk famously left WWE back in 2014 after the Royal Rumble pay-per-view. His wife and former WWE Diva’s champion AJ Lee would follow suit the year after and since then has not competed inside the ring.
AJ Lee took to her Instagram story and reacted to her husband’s iconic debut in AEW as it was clear she was very happy and proud of CM Punk. She included an emoji of a crying ice cream bar and the words ‘Proud of papa.’

After Punk’s debut, AJ Lee started trending on Twitter as many fans expressed their great desire to see her in AEW along with her husband.
It is known whether AJ Lee will decide to join AEW as she has been very busy in various projects, which includes writing novels and comic books over the past few years.
