CM Punk made his return to pro wrestling at AEW Rampage The First Dance. He entertained the crowd for around 20 minutes with his microphone abilities. Then he promised everyone ice cream, tribute to Andy Kaufman that he delivered on. Punk plans on doing a whole lot more of that in the years to come.

Punk took part in a media scrum after Rampage. He had a lot to say about his future plans in AEW. He will wrestling, but he also wants to do other things for the company. Those other duties include commentary, because he wants to give back to wrestling.

The Second City Savior explained that he wasn’t in a place where he could contribute to pro wrestling before. It took seven years, but CM Punk is finally back in pro wrestling and he is able to give back like he always wanted to.

As Ringside News exclusively reported, CM Punk is expected to wrestle 10 to 12 matches per year. He will also be on television nearly every week, but his duties as an in-ring performer will not be full-time. Punk is All Elite and full-time with the company, but he will be able to do a lot more with Tony Khan in charge.
