Ric Flair requested his WWE release, because he didn’t like the company’s creative direction. That request was granted and now the Nature Boy is free agent once again. The rumors are not true about that alleged NSFW photo of Flair, but he is returning to the NWA.
The NWA sent out a tweet to inform the public that Ric Flair is going to be on hand for NWA 73 on August 29th.
It was always historic. But now #NWA73 at The Chase will be LEGENDARY.

The NWA were not shy about sending out an invitation to Ric Flair after his WWE departure. Now he is officially returning home to the National Wrestling Alliance, a company he proudly represented as champion time and time again.
