AEW is set to invade The United Center for the First Dance on Friday. That special episode of Rampage is expected to include the debut of CM Punk, but the company also has a loaded card for the show. Tony Khan just upped the stakes as he promised a huge announcement.

The AEW President got on Twitter and said “the most anticipated announcement in AEW history” will go down on Rampage tomorrow night. Fans flooded his notifications to send out CM Punk tweets, but he is certainly hyping something.

I’m betting that excitement from the most anticipated announcement in @AEW history at #AEWRampage The First Dance will build up through All Out on PPV. We’ll make new fans + we’ll welcome dormant wrestling households worldwide back into the fold; a new era in #AEW begins tomorrow

As Ringside News exclusively reported, CM Punk officially signed with the company and he is expected to wrestle 10 to 12 times per year. This big announcement will likely bring a lot of fans back to pro wrestling, and they will be going to AEW this time around.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
