After being released by WWE, it seems that many have interest in Ric Flair. While Flair’s involvement would likely be as a commentator or other non wrestling position of the show, that hasn’t deterred one promotion from expressing open interest in the Nature Boy.

While Ric Flair has worked for numerous promotions in his legendary career, the NWA in particular is often synonymous with the 16 time world champion. The official NWA Twitter account posted that they would be honored to have Flair show up.

Hopefully @RicFlairNatrBoy knows he is MORE than welcome for Wrestling At The Chase.

We’d be honored for him to show up.

Flair spent a large portion of the 1980s working with NWA, and he is a record holding 10 time NWA World Heavyweight Champion. An appearance from him would be huge for the promotion that has been seeing somewhat of a renaissance as of late.
