According to Fightful Select, NXT’s plan for the Diamond Mine will see Roderick Strong receive a lot more attention. It is reported that there are big plans for him in NXT this year.

We’ve been told Roderick Strong figures big into NXT’s 2021 plans, especially their efforts to add marquee value to the Cruiserweight Title.

We previously covered how there were plans for Marina Shafir and Arturo Ruas to debut as part of the Diamond Mine. Ruas later confirmed that report in an interview. Those plans were changed and they were released instead.

It was reported that Roderick Strong agreed to a new contract extension ahead of the Diamond Mine’s debut. “Numerous NXT talent” have also been taken off television only to re-debut after signing a new deal. We will have to see what NXT’s plan is, but Roderick Strong will apparently continue to receive a spotlight.
