Vince McMahon is the primary decision maker in WWE, but sometimes he’s willing to try out an deal that he’s not 100% sold on. This was the case with Eva Marie and Doudrop, but that uncertainty quickly went away.

Eva Marie and Doudrop are in a very interesting storyline on RAW. It appears that Doudrop, formerly Piper Niven, is already getting tired of Eva Marie’s pushy ways. A split is written on the walls, and Vince McMahon thinks it’s “good sh*t, pal.” That wasn’t always the case.

According to Mike Johnson on PW Insider Elite audio, McMahon wasn’t totally sold on the Eva Marie and Doudrop storyline at first. Once he saw their interactions that changed and now he is much more hands-on.

“The story I was told to me was, ‘he wasn’t sold on the idea, but let’s do it’. Then after that first week, where Piper stood up to her. He loved it, he loved the facial expressions. Obviously, I’m paraphrasing stories I heard from multiple people. There’s going to be a lot more storyline development with these characters in the weeks ahead”

Eva Marie and Doudrop are just getting started on RAW. They failed to qualify for Money in the Bank and that caused a bit of stress for them. Doudrop can handle herself, but Eva Marie wants to take all of the credit for both of their accomplishments.

We’ll just have to see how much longer Doudrop can take Eva Marie, but Vince McMahon seems to be interested in the storyline now which is a great place for Eva Marie and Doudrop to be in. After all, it’s usually a good thing to have Vince McMahon’s attention.
