WWE has a lot of plans that they need to get in line right now. They are coming out of a pandemic and plans for live touring are on the horizon, but not announced yet. Another important piece of information that hasn’t gotten out is SummerSlam’s location. One very interesting place is apparently on the company’s short list.

It was previously noted that Las Vegas is on WWE’s shortlist of cities to host SummerSlam. According to Jon Alba on the Living The Gimmick podcast, on his Patreon, WWE is considering one particular Las Vegas venue that could fit a lot of fans.

It is reported that WWE is considering the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. That outdoor venue could hold around 72,000 at full capacity. The venue is outside of the Las Vegas Strip which makes it a perfect location for a destination event.

The state of Nevada has lifted their pandemic regulations, meaning a return to normalcy in a lot of ways. The pandemic is still going on, but as more vaccines are administered in the United States we are certainly getting closer to that herd immunity number that everyone desires.
