AEW fans love to defend the company as their diehard viewership sticks with them every week. Lance Storm had to make a point that AEW’s booking isn’t perfect as much as it is praised.

During F4WOnline’s radio show, Lance Storm pointed out how Britt Baker lost to Thunder Rosa in that unsanctioned match. Then Thunder Rosa wasn’t around at all the next week. We also didn’t see Baker wrestle on Dynamite again until she was declared the #1 contender. That is certainly a hole in AEW’s booking logic.

“I saw Britt Baker get beat to a bloody pulp, pile driven through a table, and soundly defeated in the main event of Dynamite. Then the next week I was treated like I was dumb enough to not realize that she lost the match, because they brought her out and celebrated and I never saw the winner again.”

“After that big loss she says that she’s going to become the #1 contender. I never see her wrestle on Dynamite again until she comes out and says that she’s the #1 contender.”

Lance Storm’s point was to counter Bryan Alvarez who was grilling WWE’s booking for not making sense. He said you can find examples in both shows where the booking is off. AEW fans have a way of overlooking a lot of that, but it’s an unavoidable fact in pro wrestling. You can check out a clip of that conversation below.
