Teddy Long’s WWE Status After Throwback SmackDown Return

Teddy Long showed up on SmackDown this week to celebrate the Throwback Edition. Having him around really made the Throwback episode make much more sense. After all, they can’t bring back Vickie Guerrero because she’s with AEW. What is Teddy’s status now?

According to PW Insider, Teddy Long was brought back for a one-off appearance. That being said, it was still great to have him backstage at SmackDown as he is universally loved within the WWE locker room.

Teddy Long’s appearance last night was just scheduled as a one-off appearance but everyone loved having him there.

We will wait for Teddy Long’s next appearance. He will likely be back whenever WWE gives him a call. He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2017 and has made a few appearances since then.
