During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that Daniel Bryan’s WWE contract expired at midnight on Friday. That was merely hours after his Universal Title match against Roman Reigns.

The timing of Daniel Bryan’s final match in WWE and his contract expiring is notable. It was also said that anyone who is claiming to know what Daniel Bryan is doing next “is a liar.” Brie Bella likely knows what her husband is doing next, but nobody else is aware.

Bryan wants more than money. He wants to wrestle dream matches and have fun with his career, because he loves pro wrestling. This will be a very interesting time for him, to say the least.

AEW has belief that Daniel Bryan is going to remain with WWE. We will have to see if Vince McMahon’s company is willing to offer Bryan the kind of contract he wants in order to stay.
