Daniel Bryan lost a loser leaves SmackDown match to Roman Reigns last week. Some fans were expecting him to show up during another brand’s show. That conchairto from the Tribal Chief might have written Bryan off WWE television for good.

It was previously reported that Daniel Bryan’s WWE contract has expired. He is now without a contract, but he is apparently interested in sticking around for “unconventional work with and for WWE”.

F4WOnline expanded on that previous report as they said that there is a big push within WWE to sign Daniel Bryan once again. They obviously want him to ink a deal and lock him in.

Dave Meltzer has confirmed that Bryan’s contract expired this past Friday, and that WWE “is pushing hard for him to sign a new deal”

Daniel Bryan’s WWE contract expired, which likely means there is no non-compete clause involved. If he wanted to shock the world and show up in AEW, then that might be a possibility. There have been no hints in that direction, but Daniel Bryan’s situation is certainly an interesting one right now.
