CM Punk Makes Joke About ‘QAnon Stable’ In WWE NXT

The volatile climate of politics merged with WWE in a big way as Drake Wuertz continues making headlines. The NXT referee recently appeared in another video online where he spread unfounded QAnon conspiracy theories during a meeting about mask mandates. CM Punk is apparently entertained.

Punk opened his Twitter up for a Q&A recently and he received plenty of questions. He said that Kamaru Usman is “by far” the best male UFC fighter, but that wasn’t the most controversial thing he said.

The Second City Savior responded to a question asking: “what’s the best thing going on in wrestling right now?” CM Punk’s answer was not expected at all.

Drake Wuertz was suspended from NXT eariler this year due to his conduct. He wasn’t even allowed in the building. His duties have also been greatly stripped. Still, Wuertz continues showing up via Zoom call to spread QAnon’s message whenever he can.

It seems that CM Punk is paying close attention to the QAnon activities in NXT, but he is doing so at a safe distance which is exactly where he wants to be.
